michael & amanda. engagements.

i'd like to introduce you to michael & amanda.

they decided to get married on the coolest day ever--my birthday!!

that makes them cool.  ;)

and here are some lovelies from their engagement session.

we started out at gilgal gardens in salt lake city... totally michael & amanda's idea.

it was really fun for me to have a different location and they wanted something unique for their photos.

so it worked out for the both of us!

isn't she gorgeous?  gah!  michael is one lucky guy.

and then for some reason i always like to do some goofy shots on my shoots.  i think it helps people relax more and produces real smiles.

mike & sarah

mike & sarah have been married now for a few years and wanted to have a couples shoot, which i think is a great idea!  it was fun working with already-marrieds.

they both hold a special place in their hearts for Utah State so we decided to take some pictures on campus.

we nearly got rained out for the like the 5th time in a row, but we managed to get a quick shoot in.

kaela + garrett. bridals

shoots are so fun for me when the couple is head over heels for each other like these two are.

kaela and garrett spent far too long away from each other this summer (12 weeks to be exact) so maybe that helped.  

(i never could have done it.)

too bad i'll be in cancun for their wedding, but i was glad i could take their bridals.

and thanks to leah for being my most wonderful assistant to this shoot.  ;)
